1. All sales are final
Once you have bought a domain name, we do not offer refunds, returns, exchanges or credits. A domain name is a one-of-a-kind digital item that is moved to your account and cannot be handed back in the same state, so we cannot take it back and resell it as new.
Please be sure before you buy. If you have a question about a name, ask us first through the contact page.
2. What this covers
We do not refund an order, in whole or in part, for reasons such as:
- you changed your mind, or no longer need the name;
- you made a typing or spelling mistake, or bought the wrong name or extension;
- you found the name cheaper somewhere else, or the price changes later;
- the name turns out to be similar to a trademark or another brand, or you cannot get a matching social media handle;
- the name does not bring the traffic, search ranking, sales or value you expected;
- your business plans, budget or approvals changed;
- you did not know about the registrar's renewal price or rules.
Please also read the disclaimer, which explains what we do not promise about a name.
3. When a purchase counts as made
A purchase is made when your payment is confirmed and your order is accepted. From that point your order is covered by this policy. Until your payment is confirmed, you can leave checkout or cancel an unpaid order at no cost.
4. The one exception: a transfer we cannot complete
Your payment is held in escrow until the domain reaches you. If we are unable to complete the transfer, for example because the seller cannot deliver the name or it is lost to another party before the transfer, we cancel the order and return the full amount you paid.
The money goes back to the payment method you used and usually arrives within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank. This is the return of money for something we did not deliver, not a refund of a completed purchase.
This exception does not apply when the transfer is delayed because you have not followed the registrar steps, have not replied to us, or your registrar has refused the transfer for reasons on your side.
5. Mistakes in billing
If you were charged twice for one order, or charged an amount different from the price you accepted, contact us with your order number. We will correct the charge. This is a fix for our error, not a refund of the purchase.
6. Disputes with your bank
Please talk to us before you start a chargeback. Most problems can be sorted out quickly. If a payment is disputed after the domain has been transferred to you, we will give your bank the evidence of the order, the transfer and your confirmation, and we may suspend your account.
7. How to reach us
Use the contact page and include your order number and the email address you used at checkout. We reply by email.
